Fuse Boards or Consumer Units are the hub of your electrical installation. Fuse boards protect all the different circuits from overloading the wiring and protecting you and your family from electrocution, and potential electrical fires.
A revolutionised fuse board decreases the risk of major problems, it has the ability to detect wiring faults which in turn, disconnects the electricity flow before any heat builds up.
At Bright Spark, all our new fuse boards incorporate RCD’s / RCBO's (Residual Current Devices), this is a safety device intended to protect you & your family against personal electric shocks.
Older fuse boards include a piece of fuse wire between two blades that need replacing every time there was a short circuit. Many people struggle and get frustrated to replace these fiddly wires. These fuse boards fall below the industry standards and are due for an upgrade now! At Bright Spark, if you are considering a home extension, or additional installations, they will review your existing fuse boards free of charge to ensure they comply with industry standards for your safety, and your piece of mind.
If you are looking for a fuse board upgrade, at Bright Spark we are NICEIC registered Domestic & Commercial Electricians with the knowledge and experience to provide you a comprehensive service. Well, after a plumber left us with an expensive bill and still no hot water, we called Bright Spark in the hope that they could at least tell us what the problem was. Lo and behold, within 30 minutes, Karen has given us hot water..............excellent service as ever from Bright Spark – thank you

This company was recommended by some people on the Nextdoor website. I wanted new lights installed in my kitchen, dining room and conservatory. Karen got back to me within minutes of my email and both Electricians proved to be efficient, friendly and tidy workmen. I will be keeping their business card handy for future use.
