Fault Finding & Breakdowns

Electrical Fault Finding

When something goes wrong with your electrics, finding the problem is like solving a puzzle. Bright Spark engineers start by asking you the key questions: What happened? How did it happen? When did it start? What's changed recently?

Their first step is always a thorough visual inspection. They look for obvious signs of trouble - worn-out parts, physical damage, scorch marks, rust, overheating, or unusual sounds that shouldn't be there.

Sometimes the solution isn't visible to the naked eye, and from then on they need to break out their testing equipment. While this might take a bit longer, it's essential for pinpointing the exact issue which occouring for you. Once they find the problem, they'll fix it properly for you - no cutting corners.

All electrical installations are to the Electrical Regulations BS7671, with Bright Spark being on the Electrical Safety Register, Part P compliant, and rest assured members of the NICEIC.

We couldn’t single out any one person as they’re all great. Joe was very helpful today and made a lovely neat job of the work. We wouldn’t use any other company. Best wishes. Carolyn

You just saved us the biggest headache ever; after months of electrical problems ( now resolved), we had a ‘no power situation’. After checking circuit boards, switches etc we were at a complete loss. Read your piece above (after Googling ‘circuit board switches up, but no power‘) about RCD switch and resetting (didn’t know what an RCD was), and after 8 hours sleep dreaming of circuit boards and 2 minutes of contemplation, and re-reading your advice,I totally nailed it. Brilliant tutorial, many thanks. Susanne (I am neither young nor savvy with anything technical)

Wonderful Job - Thank you very much

Daphne - Lamberhurst

This company was recommended by some people on the Nextdoor website. I wanted new lights installed in my kitchen, dining room and conservatory. Karen got back to me within minutes of my email and both Electricians proved to be efficient, friendly and tidy workmen. I will be keeping their business card handy for future use.

Jacqueline, Penshurst

I had no electricity and phoned up in very late evening. Karen phoned me back despite it being late evening and sorted out my problem on the phone . Great service, extremely helpful and quick response and I didn’t even have to pay for a visit. Thoroughly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.
