These boxes are typically a sealed box or enclosure and we install these to roof overhangs or exterior walls, sometimes they are installed under decking.
The boxes are mainly used for when installing lighting for the outside areas, particularly with the LED Flood lights which are supplied with their own power cord, so the Light is totally water Proof.
The boxes can be used extending circuits in areas where they can be prone to either moisture, mechanical damage.
Many times we install larger versions of these to enclose electrical control systems, to reduce the chance that anybody will alter and mess up the controls.
There are many different types of exterior and interior enclosure boxes.

All electrical installations are to the Electrical Regulations BS7671, with Bright Spark being on the Electrical Safety Register, Part P compliant, and rest assured members of the NICEIC.

We found the service to be friendly and pro-active. We had an appointment quickly and the engineer was able to find the issue, which was not straightforward, within an hour and rewire the effected ceiling lamp and resolve the issue completely within 2 hours. Very methodical and accurate working - most appreciated!
Karen recently came to our place on a Sunday afternoon when our kitchen suddenly lost all power. She found and fixed the problem with the breaker very quickly, and also checked the others.
