LOT 20 states that any local space heater e.g. Storage heater, gas fire heaters, even underfloor heating, that has been manufactured after January 1st 2018 must have day/time timers and temperature control as a minimum requirement.
This doesn’t mean you have to replace every heater in your home, however, if you were to replace your heaters with LOT 20 compliant ones, you could make your home up to 30% more efficient and save £100s on your bills – what’s not to love?
You could also consider having a Smart home heating system installed - this means you have control over your heating from your smart phone or tablet.
