Fault Finding & Breakdowns
Finding an electrical fault is arguably a process of elimination, we have to question why something has happened, how has it happened, when did it happen and what has changed?
After we’ve processed the questions necessary, we will inspect the area to find signs of wear and tear, and look for other issues such as mechanical damage, signs of overheating, corrosion, burning or if there are any out of the ordinary noises.
Sometimes the process isn’t as simplistic as a visual check and some electrical testing will be essential, this is no problem for the team but can sometimes be a more time consuming process, nevertheless a necessary one. Once the problem has been identified the team will undertake the task to sort it to an above satisfactory standard.
We are also available over the phone on 01892 531 728 for any breakdowns or queries you may have. The line is open 6am until 10pm, and we will endeavour to get to you on the same day, if not the following day at the latest.
Unique to Karen and Bright Spark, we offer "remote assistance" either by telephone, Video Call on Facebook, or even FaceTime if you have an iPhone! Here a team member can identify the electrical issues with you over the video call and the team member will help address the fault. It seems more often than not that Karen or the team can guide you around finding the fault remotely and even fix the problem.
The use of remote assistance has become much easier in the modern day and is greatly convenient for the customer as it is a quick and easy process!

Karen recently came to our place on a Sunday afternoon when our kitchen suddenly lost all power. She found and fixed the problem with the breaker very quickly, and also checked the others.
